The Consultants at Reading Urology Partnership cover all areas of urology. Each Consultant has a large experience in general urological problems, and the diagnostic tests that are commonly used.
Any problems related to the structure, function, blockage or suspected cancer of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate and genitals. This may arise from blood in the urine, pain, abnormal blood tests (such as kidney function tests or PSA), or abnormalities seen on scans / tests done for other reasons.
Although many conditions related to urology can seem somewhat embarassing at first, they can be very serious and early diagnosis and appropriate treatment by an expert is essential. Please contact us on 0118 920 7040 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any concerns or would simply like some advice.
Each Consultant within Reading Urology Partnership has their own area of specialist interest, and benefits from working within a partnership, by being able to concentrate on this area of specialist interest both in their NHS and private practice. This is quite a unique way of practicing and remains quite rare across private practices across the UK. This clearly has huge advantages to patients being cared for by the partnership, as each patient is guaranteed to be seen by an expert in whatever particular urological condition they have.
Please find links to the right, to patient information pages on a variety of conditions which we hope will help to inform both patients and their relatives. We hope you will find this information useful and informative, however we do strongly advise that you discuss any matter concerning you health in the first instance with your GP.
